We looking for an ambitious skilled and experienced ecologist who is looking to develop their career and help us deliver our vision.

We would like you to have:

  • experience in ecological surveys, PEAs, and BNG assessments
  • one or more protected species licences
  • FISC3
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • good GIS skills
  • willingness to work away from home

You will be an integral part of a growing consultancy, working directly with the Directors and our existing team of consultants.

Day to day, you will be undertaking a wide range of ecological surveys (including UK Habs, NVC, BBS, GCN, and bat surveys), managing projects as well as costing and tendering for work.

This role would provide you with an opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of projects and clients and develop skills in all aspects of consultancy.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following:

  • an honours degree in ecology or a related field
  • a minimum of 2 - 5 years professional experience
  • good knowledge of UK and European environmental legislation
  • protected species licences
  • membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM)
  • a full UK driving licence.
