What we are looking for

We’re looking for an experienced person to carry out bookkeeping duties and provide clerical and administrative support to the consultants. The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers is essential. Specific duties will include:

  • Entering financial information into Quickbooks
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Recording & processing business expenses
  • Raising client invoices
  • Credit control
  • Provide information to our payroll provider and distribute payslips
  • Managing day-to-day transactions
  • Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the management team
  • Supporting the accountant with quarterly VAT & year-end analysis
  • Completing purchase order requests for materials & supplies
  • Completing month end procedures
  • Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management
  • Providing administrative and clerical support as needed to the wider team including hotel and hire car booking

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes

  • General Education certificates to a good level (GCSE's A Levels or equivalent)
  • Bookkeeping qualifications (AAT Lvl2/3 - essential)
  • Quickbooks Online proficient (essential)
  • Confident telephone manner gained in sales or credit control.
  • Strong administration skills with an eye for detail.
  • Word Processing and Spreadsheet competence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • To be honest, discreet and trustworthy
  • Ability to commute to Reddish, Greater Manchester.
